Mahogany Secretaire Handcrafted in Hamburg, North Germany, of pyramid mahogany. This exquisite piece is fully restored and expertly french polished! The crowning feature of the secretaire is the masterfully executed circular checker board inlay in the alcove being reflected to infinity by opposing mirrors. The writing surface is made of birch and elm, as are the small drawer fronts below the alcove. Five large drawers are accessible while the writing surface is closed.
