Display Case / China Cabinet
Biedermeier Period ~1820-1830
Handcrafted in Hamburg, North Germany, of pyramid mahogany.
French polished, mirrored back, glass shelves, hidden drawer.

China Cabinet
Solid oak, nicely carved, spacious china cabinet from 1900-1920s.
Three doors, three drawers, each section has three adjustable shelves.

Measures: 99.5"W x 21.25"D x 92"T
Center section with glass door measures 35"W x 13"D x 60"T

Corner Display Cabinet
Six sided, solid oak, Art Nouveau display cabinet from 1900s.
Includes three glass shelves, three mirrored back panels plus mirrored bottom.
Lighted upper and lower section. Individual beveled panes of glass really sparkle.

Measures: 43"W x 21"D x 80"T

China Cabinet
1960-70s vintage. Made in the Baroque style of walnut.
Made in Italy.

Measures: 71.5"W x 20"D x 82.5"T

Display Cabinet
Made in Germany during the late Biedermeier period ~1850-1860s
Original condition, not restored. Made of burled walnut.

Nativity Cabinet
This fantastic find was hand made at the turn of the century ~1900.
Deep relief carvings, in solid oak, depict Jesus, Mary, Joseph and the
three wise men in the manger along with many other sacred images.

This cabinet features 3 cabinet compartments and 3 drawers. Notice that there are no exterior door or drawer pulls.
Once the main, center, cabinet door is opened hidden latches can be accessed to open the other 2 cabinet doors. Latch is shown in the bottom right photo above.
To access the drawers one would need to know the drawers even exist and to reach under each drawer and slide them open from below.

A very special piece and likely served as a buffet in a monastery
or rectory.

Partially disassembles for transport.

Religious Cabinet
This one of a kind was hand made at the turn of the century ~1900.
Deep relief carvings, in solid oak, depicts the Resurrection of Jesus.

Why the wrought iron handles on the side?
To possibly resemble the Arc of the Covenant?

This is a very moving piece of artwork!

Elegant Mahogany Cabinet
Circa 1900s. 4 panels of thick beveled glass in each door (original curtains to hand behind class are included). Metal drawer pulls and applied metal floral decorations.
Approximately chin high.

Never restored, great condition - circa 1880s.

Kitchen Cabinet
Historismus period. Unique golden pine. Interesting operation of lower storage areas: close and lock the left & right doors and the 3 center drawers are secured as well.

Cabinet width is divided to make 3 independent sections with four shelves each.

Made in the 1980s this expertly crafted replication of a museum piece is a one of a kind piece superlative by anyone's standard.
The french polish finish alone involved more than 100 man hours of expert labor.
Has mirrored back which reflects the fully finished rear of the front design. Has four fixed wood shelves.
