Bronze Sculpture Baby with Pacifier and Toys

We believe this piece to be Oriental by the markings cast into the bronze
as shown in the last photo.
We believe the piece dates from the 1920s - 1930s.
The type of feeding bottle was popular from the late 1800s through the 1920s. Very delightful subject matter and execution!

Victoria Bicycle Model Number V 62 N Circa Mid 1950s
Made In Nurnberg Germany By Victoria Werke A.G.
$550.00 US

This is an amazing find!
While clearing out an estate in Germany, that we purchased in it's entirety,
we happened to check a rooftop storage room.
The locked door did not look like it had been opened in ages,
and when we peered inside we found a strange shape in
a waxed paper wrap.
What a surprise to find this, nearly mint condition Victoria bicycle.
We have not seen another one from this era - that was actually used -
in such fantastic condition!

Please click through the images above.
We believe that you will agree that this bike is
a truly amazing find!

Some of the features of note are:
When actuated the front brake pad plunges straight down to contact top
of the rubber tire; original bike bell by Victoria works very well; there is a nice spring loaded package carrier at the rear; note the very stylish VW sprocket design; plenty of spring in the seat made by Wittkop of Germany; includes original Carideng tires (700x45c / 28") with very little or no wear; has a Gloria lock with removable key; and especially note the removable blue "skirt protector" around the rear wheel; as well as all of the ornate badges and emblems!

Victoria Bicycle Advertising_Victoria Bicycle Advertising

Victoria bicycle production began in 1886 and by 1902 also
added motorized bikes to their product line.
(This was at a time when Nurnberg had 130 bicycle/motorcycle manufacturers.)
The Victoria Werke company thrived until disrupted by the second world war
and ceased production in 1958.

Look at the advertising post card, above and to the left. I don't think that leggy gal needed the skirt protector on her Victoria!
