As purveyors of European Antiques and Collectibles for over 30 years,
we have gained the expertise to find, identify, and acquire the most unique items
from all over Europe and the Far East.

We are proud of our success and thankful for all of you who have patronized our establishment in Germany, and now in the United States.
Golden Gallery of Galax is located in mountainous southwest Virginia very near the
intersection of I-81 and I-77.

Golden Gallery of Galax has over 8,000 items in stock. The bulk of our inventory is acquired from private estates and individuals who have sought us out due to our expertise, success, and longevity in our market. Most items are in use up until the day we acquire them. We offer only quality items that our customers can truly use and treasure from the day they return the pieces to daily use. We cater to individuals, collectors, fellow antique dealers, as well as the experienced investors who treasure historic originals.

We trade in European antiques and collectibles only!
We encourage like minded dealers, design/decorator professionals, and collectors to inquire about our acquisition and shipping container services.

Victoria Bicycle Model Number V 62 N
Circa Mid 1950s
Made In Nurnberg Germany By Victoria Werke A.G
.
$550.00 US

This is an amazing find!
While clearing out an estate in Germany, that we purchased in it's entirety,
we happened to check a rooftop storage room.
The locked door did not look like it had been opened in ages,
and when we peered inside we found a strange shape in a waxed paper wrap.
What a surprise to find this, nearly mint condition Victoria bicycle.
We have not seen another one from this era - that was actually used - in such fantastic condition!

Please click through the images below.
We believe that you will agree that this bike is
a truly amazing find!

Some of the features of note are:
When actuated the front brake pad plunges straight down to contact top of the rubber tire; original
bike bell by Victoria works very well; there is a nice spring loaded package carrier at the rear; note the very stylish VW sprocket design; plenty of spring in the seat made by Wittkop of Germany; includes original Carideng tires (700x45c / 28") with very little or no wear; has a Gloria lock with removable key; and especially note the removable blue "skirt protector" around the rear wheel; as well as all of the ornate badges and emblems!

Victoria bicycle production began in 1886 and by 1902 also added motorized bikes
to their product line.
(This was at a time when Nurnberg had 130 bicycle/motorcycle manufacturers.)
The Victoria Werke company thrived until disrupted by the second world war
and ceased production in 1958.

Look at the advertising post card, above and to the left. I don't think that leggy gal needed
the skirt protector on her Victoria!

This item is expected to sell very quickly, call us ASAP!
